From June 2021, we plan to be able to offer a self-contained suite of rooms for families and small groups. This newly refurbished space is made up of 1no Double ensuite; 1no Double; 1no Twin room & a small lounge area and private shower room (3 room s & 2 bathrooms in all - sleeps 6).
ABOUT
A friendly, flexible Bed and Breakfast in a beautifully converted Grade II listed barn setting in Tacolneston. Situated just ten minutes from the historic city of Norwich and market town Wymondham, our B&B is close to the villages of Hethel, Wreningham, Ashwellthorpe and Mulbarton, making it ideal for both business travellers and weekend getaways.
Accommodation options include the choice of 2-double, en-suite shower rooms & 1-ensuite King room, plus a further 1-double ensuite and 1-double/family suite (1-double, +/- 1-twin): we take great pride in providing very high-standards, ensuring rooms and public spaces are exceptionally clean, comfortable, cosy & charming.

As well as private en-suite bedrooms, there is also a large residents' lounge with Sky TV (inc. sports & movies), comfy sofas, breakfast/dining area and hidden nooks where you can take your pick from our mini-library and relax with your chosen book.

Additionally, we offer Free WIFI, in-room tea and coffee facilities, ample car parking, a delicious, self-serve continental breakfast available every day of the week.

Please note: We are currently in the process of expanding our offering for 2021. We plan to offer 7 rooms; including a flexible 3-room family suite (6 beds, 2 shower rooms) & a level access Double, with a private garden terrace.

While the Pelican is currently closed, there are still plenty of local pubs & restaurants around. The closest, the Woodlands club, is literally across the road , with the Jolly Farmers offering food at the other end of the village.
Cultural Sites
Locals say "Norwich has a pub for every day & a church for every Sunday" . It also boasts a 'pristine' Norman castle, a cathedral, an historic market & a World leading University. Wymondham Abbey is a great local visit
Markets & Food
Local farm shops abound in Norfolk. with farmers markets regularly appearing in Wymondham & Norwich. Try Paddocks farm shop in Mulbarton (enroute to Norwich). Tacolneston has a takeaway Just Eat is always a click away
Leisure Activities
Wymondham leisure centre offers a great gym, swim, sports & fitness. While Thetford offers wave pool, cycling, walking & climbing. Snetterton race track is 20 mins away
